I always like Something New To Try !
And here is my new material to try something New :)
These are decoupage napkins,MDF cut outs,paper doilies and sospeso sheet.

Shortly I will be posting Decoupage on Glass Bottle,Quilling wall Cloak and something by using sospeso flower !

My First Glass Bottle painting

I have collected many glass bottles,just to paint it or decoupage it or to try something new.

Here I used glass paint.Glass paints can't be applied by brush.It comes in liquid form.I pore blue color inside the bottle,as I wanted this as background color.I was rotating the bottle for quite some time,so as to spread the color evenly everywhere.This takes 1-2 days for complete drying (It may take longer for bigger bottles).Then I made simple flower design on paper.I placed it on bottle and directly drawn outline with silver 3d liner.Once its dry,I fill the flower with pink glass color.At a time only one flower can be painted ,as bottle is round and paint spills down.I added some silver dots and my painted glass bottle is ready.

This is another try

This style is told me by my Mummy. Glass paint box has black glass out liner with it. I used to draw free form lines and shapes.Then I filled each shape with different glass color.Again you have to paint it part by part.We can called it as collage glass painting.

These are my painted glass bottles. Put some artificial flowers in it and decorate corner of your home !

Glass Bottle Painting

Hi everyone !
        Today I am showing you decorated glass bottle.

This painted bottle has already taken its space on TV unit !

I have decorated with glass colors and acrylic colors. Red flowers are just free hand strocks of brush.

Here I used yellow glass paint as background.Then painted these red flowers with acrylic color.Its free hand drawing.Kept it for drying for 5-6 hours.

Flower center and border painted with white acrylic color.I have painted small golden dots on white center.Bottle is ready to use .can be decorated more with adding pearls/kundan etc.

Gift Bag with Tag

This is an up cycled project. This is my entry for IQCG#24 - Recycle / Alter. 

I have used empty corn flacks box and cloth tag for this.

                                              I pasted red tinted paper on box and tag.

Then decorated it with paper lace.

I made Quilling petals of 3 mm colorful strips.

Pasted quillinf flowers and small punched butterflies. N gift bag with colorful flowers is ready!

I have used bright color 5 mm strips for flowers.Blue flowers area Malaysian flowers and orange one is beehive flower.Paper doily is used as background.

Collage Photo frame

One more handmade Photo frame inspired by  Dr.Sonia's tutorial of handmade photo frame .So following that I made collage photo frame for 3 photos.

1. I used box board as base. I wanted to Frame 2 horizontal and 1 vertical photos.Accordingly I cut the board.

2.This is how board look after cutting.

3. I used red color paper to wrap board.I wraps back side also which can be skipped. 

4.This is finished Frame. Instead of pasting transparent sheet I put laminated photographs.

5.For decoration I just pasted silver stones.But i want to decorate it further with quilling flowers

Handmade photo frame with quilling

I wanted to make handmade photo frame since long.I came across with Dr.Sonia's tutorial for photo frame . And this is my 1st handmade photo frame.

1. I used box board as base. This is how board look after cutting.

2. I used orange color paper to wrap board.

3.This is finished Frame. I tried some stamping also but it didn't came out so well.It was my first try for stamping.

4.For decoration I used quilling flowers.

On same line  I made this red frame. I decorated it with pearl white 3d liner.

After successfully preparing small frames,I made Collage Photo frame

Acrylic Kundan Rangoli

This season's favorite hit is Kundan Rangoli.Market,shops were full of these colorful,sparkling kundan/acrylic rangolis.
I am posting it too late !
I search for these blank acrylic rangoli cutouts in local market and tried to decorate it with kundans. Its very easy. Just see to colour combinaation n your Diwali gift is ready in an hour.
You will get acrylic haladi-kumkum dibbies,pooja thalis and different shapes of rangolis.

I have bought some pre cut quilling strips also. These are the flowers made with pre cut paper strips. I added the white closed loop circle to it.

Decoupage Trays !

After successful attempt of decoupage on Pencil Box ,I tried decoupage on mdf Trays.

My trays with coating of base color.

These are my pattern papers and decoupage glue.

And this is final product....my red deccoupaged trays ! Best for gifting your beloved one.Looks good on your coffee table or display unit. Put small white container with fresh flowers in tray to give fresh look to your living room.

Decoupage Pencil Box

I am fascinated by decoupage. So started searching about all material and methods for it. Finally bought mdf pencil box,decoupage glue,acrylic color n pattern paper.  And this is my first decoupage !

Best gift for kids ! It will surly add beauty to your study table !
